Collage
In this collage, I chose some pictures that represent me in many different ways. I chose the ones with my friend and I because they are people I love to be around and love spending time with them. The picture of my cat is there because I have three cats and love them all so much! I love volleyball and gymnastics and am really hoping to continue with them until post-high school. My eyes are something that represent me, as well as the Starbucks, because I love Starbucks and I can drink it any time, without getting tired of it. Lastly, the picture of the beach and the bath are there because I love taking baths in the winter and love going swimming in the summer. Overall, I think I chose multiple photos that represent me pretty well.
Aperture
Aperture is a way to change the focus and of a photo to make one part of the image more focused . The higher the aperture, the smaller the lens and more is in focus. The smaller the aperture, the bigger the lens, less is in focus. In the first photo, I used F4.5, in the second, I used F13 and in the last, I used F25. In these images I think you can tell the difference between the apertures pretty well, but I think I could have angled the pictures differently to make the aperture more noticeable.
Story
My story is about a girl who thought it was a good idea to climb up onto a playground to see what it would look like from up above. She loses her balance, but luckily, a very nice dog comes to the rescue and saves her from her fall.
Taking these images was challenging at times because It was hard to get a good angle with a nice background. I also found it difficult to edit the picture where she's falling because it too a long time and was confusing to me at first. I eventually figured it out and was very happy when I was finished. Overall, the story was very fun to shoot and to edit, and I also think it was a good way to learn about all the different angles and heights that you can take pictures of. |
